Dryer emergency. Pen ink in the dryer.

My daughter washed her backpack this weekend but overlooked a pen inside the backpack. After removing the backpack from the dryer I came to find a rash of black pen skid marks. Like any good techie I “Goggled” the problem. There were many “solutions” ( pardon the pun) and after trying most of them, including magic eraser, goo gone gel, oops,409,windex, and others, we were still at square 1. I did try a small test with goof off and it worked great but we have a gas dryer and I didn’t want to blow up the house. Goof off is HIGHLY FLAMMABLE. Serendipitously I found “Fabuloso” lavender. It really did the trick.
