I have found an interesting result with the google search engine. I have been adding content to the TTR Tech Tips Radio for a couple of weeks now. After day 2 I could actually find my blog through the google search. I posted an article about a Dryer emergency my daughter created. I thought wow that was fast!
I purchased a domain name through Godaddy.com ( techtipsradio.com). I made a DNS change so "blog.techtipsradio.com" would point to the blog. I made the advanced change to my blog to allow my new domain name to point here. The old name was techtipsradio.blogspot.com. Blogger even told me that the link, techtipsradio.blogspot.com, would not be lost.
The very next day the dryer article was COMPLETLY gone!!!
I have added the domain to the google crawler, but that will take some time. I guess the lesson learned here is: Keep the blogspot name until your domain name is being searched.
I did a small test by coping the dryer article to my other blog gobuckoff.blogspot.com I will monitor how long it takes to make the search visable.

The domain has reappeared with blog.techtipsradio.com...yea..The article has yet to show up on gobuckoff.blogspot.com. It could just be a timing issue. I will be creating blog.gobuckoff.com shortly. I am doing a test to see how well these affiliated marketing programs work...
