NaturallySpeaking version 9

Today I am testing out a product made by Dragon called NaturallySpeaking version 9, Preferred. I am using the software to dictate this blog entry. I am using my Bluetooth jawbone headset to do the dictation. I went to Amazon and read some reviews on speech recognition software to help narrow down the choices. The current version for NaturallySpeaking is version 10. However, the reviews on Amazon did not speak highly of version 10. Most of the reviews on version 9 were good. I have been using the software for three days and so far so good.

If you make an effort to speak clearly and concisely the software works remarkably well. In dictating this blog entry(To this point) it has made no mistake so far. I have yet to become an expert at the Voice Commands portion of the software. Once I do I'm sure it will make any correcting very easy.

I purchased the software from an affiliated vendor at Amazon (used). The cost was about $62. I received the product in four days and it was as described... in like new condition.

So in the future I am hoping to do all my blog entries via Dragon naturally speaking version 9.
